JKO straight in at the deep end with Swimathon

Swimathon is back for 2024 and we’re delighted to be helping them drive participation in their swim challenges.

A wonderful event, that not only raises crucial funds for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie, but also supports your local pool.

Swimathon is open to all, with challenges to suit swimmers of all ages, abilities and experience.

The event has seen a ceiling on the engagement they could deliver via online media and with the sector becoming increasingly cluttered, we looked for open water through outdoor.

And we did it properly:

We didn’t pay premiums for proximity targeting around specific pools.

We didn’t pay premiums for digital outdoor that significantly depletes reach and frequency

We didn’t invest in huge outdoor sites that kill your reach and frequency.

We looked at the penetration of participating pools across the UK, identified ‘hot-cells’ where we could run effective regional campaigns and ran formats that effectively delivered our core audience.

We maximised reach at effective frequency.
